Justin C. Jex, DPM - Biography
Dr. Justin C. Jex was born in Ogden, Utah and attended Weber State University where he attained a triple degree in Chemistry, Zoology, and Microbiology. He continued his medical education at Des Moines University Osteopathic Center where he received a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree. He completed his residency at Houston Podiatric Foundation from 2002 to 2005, where he was also Chief Resident from 2004 to 2005. Dr. Jex joined the Westside Podiatry practice in 2005.
Before college, Dr. Jex served 10 years in the United States Air Force and after graduating participated in the El Nino Project in Reynosa, Mexico.
Dr. Jex is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association,
Texas Podiatric Medical Association and the Harris County Podiatric Medical Society. He is on staff at Cypress Fairbanks Medical
Center, Methodist Hospital at Willowbrook, North Cypress Medical Center, and Foundation Surgical Center.
He is dedicated to his patients and their care. He places a high priority on learning and using the most up-to-date procedures to benefit patients. His professional career has been characterized by his willingness to work in close collaboration with other medical specialists, (orthopedists, radiologists, neurologists, anesthesiologists, plastic surgeons, pediatricians, etc.) to assure the best possible outcomes for his patients.
Dr. Jex enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife of 13 years and his precious son.
